You don't necessarily have to become an entrepreneur to work and submit invoices: use the invoice service – Arveteenus.ee!
There are many entrepreneurial people in Estonia who want to offer their knowledge or services as a freelance entrepreneur, i.e. in the form of light entrepreneurship, as their main activity or in addition to their main job. This form of entrepreneurship is well known in the Nordic countries.
A light entrepreneur is a private individual who works for companies on the basis of agreements and invoices for the work on the basis of an invoice. „The web-based service of Arveteenus is aimed at private individuals who need to prepare an official invoice for the company,“ explains Lauri Aasmann, one of the founders of Arveteenus.ee.
He states that a light entrepreneur does not want to set up a company or deal with the associated accounting and much more but wants to do his main job well. However, it is not possible for an individual to submit a cost invoice to the companies that have ordered the work. When submitting invoices, the online environment of Arveteenus, i.e. the missing link through which to invoice, comes to the rescue.
The main value of the Arveteenus for a light entrepreneur is the accounting service, i.e. the preparation and sending of an official invoice to the company that ordered the work. The invoice is issued by Arveteenus OÜ, the platform calculates the accounting and labour taxes for the light entrepreneur and pays them to the Tax Board.
From the entrepreneur's point of view, the main value of the Arveteenus is the easy registration of an employee and the simple termination of an employment relationship.
The worker receives money, company service and state taxes
The invoicer will receive an overview of the invoices one has prepared and the taxes paid. When paying the established minimum social tax, health insurance and pension insurance will automatically apply.
“Everyone is happy: the worker gets their money, the company service and the state taxes,” says Aasmann.
It is up to the light entrepreneur to decide to whom, how and for what price to offer their service. The person doing the work is also responsible for the quality of the work: both the work and the payment are agreed between the client and the employee.
It is also possible to send e-invoices through the Arveteenus. “Many customers use this option to settle with government agencies, because for some time now, most government agencies have only accepted expense invoices in the form of e-invoices,” says Aasmann.

Joining the Arveteenus and sending invoices is free of charge for the user. The service fee must be paid when the recipient of the invoice pays it.
Upon receipt of the invoice, the payment will be made to the account designated by the light entrepreneur within 1-2 working days.
